LIVE DEMONSTRATION · SIMULATED API

Invalid input does not become a false success.

I executed this workflow in a local n8n instance on 11 September 2026. Valid input creates a fictional contact; three invalid inputs are rejected without an API call; a simulated API failure returns HTTP 503.

Webhook → validation → API → response

Real execution, fictional data. No client system connected.

Recorded HTTP results (JSON) · Inactive n8n workflow (JSON) · Simulated API server and five tests

In a test instance of n8n 2.38.7, import the workflow and activate it on local port 18765. The Node test script starts the simulated API on 127.0.0.1:18766 and calls the local webhook. Run node test.mjs with Node 24. Stop the instance after testing. Both ports must be free.

What this proof does not establish

No real CRM connection, client authentication, idempotency or production availability is demonstrated. Do not expose this webhook without authentication. The five n8n executions reached their response branch; that does not mean five successful creations.

Recorded results from 11 September 2026. This translation, published on 22 September, is not a new execution. n8n and its dependencies retain their respective licenses.

Have one failing workflow?

A written review covers one redacted workflow of up to 25 nodes for USD 35, with prioritized findings and one clarification round, within two business days after scope and start date are agreed. Repairs and production access are separate.
