A nested JSON brief.
A document you can read.
Sections, bullet lists and nested records become a printable project brief. Open the actual PDF, inspect its input, or try the renderer below.
I built and ran this local demonstration after reviewing a community question about nested JSON and PDF delivery. It is a synthetic example, not a customer project.
What was actually checked
| Case | Observed result |
|---|---|
| Nested arrays and records | Values preserved as sections and lists |
| Missing, zero and false | Distinct output, no truthiness substitution |
| HTML in input | Escaped as text; no images or scripts inserted |
| Malformed, oversized or deep input | Rejected with a readable error |
| PDF generation | Executed locally with Chromium from the sample HTML |
Six test groups and execution time · PDF generation record · Fictional input · Generated HTML
This does not demonstrate n8n Cloud, a hosted PDF API or email sending. Those connections depend on the chosen service and require a separate end-to-end test. Links, logos and image URLs in the input remain text.
Try a different brief
Use fictional or redacted data. The editor renders in your browser; its contents are not uploaded. Downloading HTML saves it on your device. Open that file and use your browser’s Print → Save as PDF to create your own PDF.

Need this connected to your workflow?
Tell me where the JSON comes from, what the document should look like, and whether delivery means a saved file, a draft email or an approved automatic send. I will confirm the scope, price and deadline in writing before work begins.
